The location can't be beat, in my honest opinion. It was a few U stops away from the Wein Meidling train station (from which I arrived and left Vienna) and as short a distance from the main tourists attractions. Given that it's right off mariahilferstraße - there are great shopping and dining within walking distance. I found the location made me see the real, contemporary, everyday Vienna.

Flemings Hotel Wien-Stadthalle is only a 5-minute walk from the Westbahnhof Train and Metro station and Vienna's biggest shopping street Mariahilferstraße. Omg! It is the best place to stay in Vienna! I did upgrade of our room for small price and we got room on the top level. View is insane, great sunset 🌇. So cozy and comfortable! Staff is incredible, unfortunately we don't remember names but special thanks to reception ladies and gents. So helpful, friendly, professional, they help us with all our needs ❤️. Breakfast was super delicious. Location is great, train station is near buy, supermarket and very delicious restaurant with traditional austrian dishes. There is playground for kids just across the road from the hotel.

We loved the relaxed vibe of the place, the exceptional cleanliness and the lovely breakfast with good ingredients. All the staff was very polite and smiling.
