Loved that our dog Stella was welcome! ❣️🙏 We enjoyed our suite - with balcony, bathroom, a clothesline outside one of our windows, the comfy bed… etc; warm welcome / sense of hospitality & responsiveness of host - all good! Appreciated the shared space - kitchen & washing machine - so nice to be able to use! The place is funky and it works well! ❣️Also, fabulous location! We liked that it was near (1/2 block away), but not on the very busy pedestrian walkway - full of commerce, restaurants, cafes, nighttime activities. Even 1/2 block off the busy street made a difference in terms of calm & quieter.

Located in the heart of the historic center of Braga - former Pensão Residencial Inácio - Collectors is a unique accommodations establishment, both for its location and for the collections that each of its rooms houses. Restored in 2015, it perpetuates the long history of the building and the family, and the original charm of the old residential inn, recreating a story, a collection, a theme in each room. The names of the rooms speak for themselves: Porcelain, Nature, Journey to Japan and Eclectic Baroque on the second floor of the building; Portuguese Saudade in the third; and the already mythical Alice in Wonderland and Robinson Crusoe in the attic. Collectors has the facilities of a 21st century pension: free Wi-Fi and shared facilities - living/dining room and kitchen, facing a west facing balcony. Guests can prepare their own meals in the shared kitchen and enjoy the view from the balcony over the city, perfect place for a glass of wine at sunset. WARNING: The maintenance of the original layout of the building prevented the installation of an elevator. So be prepared to walk up the stairs. The guest house is on the second and third floors, and the lovely attic, where the already mythical Alice and Robinson Crusoe rooms are located. Biscainhos Museum is 1312 feet from Collector's Home, while Braga Municipal Stadium is 0.9 mi away. Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is 25 mi from the property.
