Hi! We're the travel-crazy couple behind Wandertooth. We've been travelling the world together for over a decade, so we have plenty of stories to share!

So who are we, anyway? Well, I was born in New Jersey and my husband was born in India! We met while working in the beautiful (but very cold) state of Wisconsin, realized we make excellent travel partners, and got hitched.

We made our way down to Atlanta for a few years, and now we call the sunny state of Florida our home. And now we have a seven-year old son, who is the best travel buddy anyone could ask for.

What's up with the name Wandertooth?

It's a word we made up! A "wandertooth" is like a sweet tooth - but for travel instead of sweets. It's that insatiable craving for a new adventure in a new part of the world!

Are you a full time travel blogger?

Sort of. I am a full time content creator but it's not just travel! I run a digital media company which includes a whole family of websites covering food, travel, and lifestyle topics.

Do you write all of the articles on Wandertooth?

Most of them! The site focuses on places that we have personally visited so that we can bring you the very best information and honest opinions. But we do sometimes hire local experts or invite other experienced travel bloggers to share their unique perspectives and expertise about the places they live and visit.

How can you travel so much with a kid? It's so hard!

Well.. we just do it. There's nothing I hate more than hearing people say they can't travel because they are parents. Of course you can! We've been toting our son along on our adventures since he was born, and now he's a better traveler than most of the adults I know. Your trips might look a little different with kids along, but they are every bit as fun. Go make memories!

What countries have you visited?

Well that list is always changing! But so far we've travelled to India, Malaysia, Singapore, Greece, Italy, Spain, France, Costa Rica, Mexico, Iceland, and all kinds of places in the Caribbean. And we're working our way through the US National Parks too!

We are not travel agents, so we can't book your trip for you or provide 1:1 consultations. But we do our very best to include truly helpful and complete guides on the places we visit. Explore our destination guides here!

While there's nothing I love more than hearing from readers, it can be hard to keep up with the many emails that come in every day. We do our best to answer all the questions that are posted in the comments- and then the answer can help other travelers too!

What kind of camera do you use?

I use a Nikon D750 for all of my travel photography. But I'm also a fan of simply using my iPhone for candid family sapshots or when I am not up to carrying around the real camera gear.
