Say Olá to Brazil!
We visited Brazil on a whim, as part of a grand South America tour that took us overland from Bogota, Colombia, to Montevideo, Uruguay.
When flooding in Cusco, Peru, disrupted our plans to go to Machu Picchu, we decided to add another destination to our travels, and ended up exploring Iguazu Falls and Rio de Janeiro.
That trip took place more than 8 years ago now, and we unfortunately haven’t been back to South America since…for a continent we both loved traveling through, that’s an oversight we’ll have to correct sooner, rather than later!
