Oh how I love Christmas! But it always seems that guys are the hardest to shop for – I should know, I’m one of them! Maybe it’s just that there aren’t as many stores dedicated to men, or, probably more accurately, we just don’t know where to look. We also hate to admit that we need or want something, so with that in mind, I’ve put together a list of items, my Christmas gift guide for men, that I think you can’t go wrong with.

1. Kindle e-Reader

The new Kindle Paperwhite e-reader is one of those gifts that keeps on giving. Some of the new features include a built-in adjustable light to be able to read day or night, 300ppi resolution, wifi connectivity, and a glare-free screen. Give him access to over two million books on one device this holiday!

2. Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones

These are amazing! Excellent for the train, plane, waiting room, subway, or just for some peace and quiet.  These noise cancelling headphones are available for both Apple and Android devices, they have all the benefits of the ‘over ear’ style but way smaller and easier to carry in a brief case or backpack.

3. Bose SoundLink Bluetooth Speaker

No longer does anyone need large and expensive speakers for big quality sound. This Bose bluetooth is small, portable and is available in a variety of colors.

4. Apple Watch

How cool is this? Step into the super-future by being able to text, make calls, organize your daily activities and even check the score and your heart rate, all from your wrist watch! Multiple color and strap options to choose from. Behold the future!

5. Vetelli Leather Toiletry Bag for Men

This is a great gift for guys! This vintage leather toiletry kit has a separate bottom section for shave cream bottles, deodorant and other larger items, and an upper section for smaller items or things he’ll want to access quicker. It kind of reminds me of a classic doctor’s medical kit for house calls!

6. Weekender/overnight Duffel Bag

Travelling carry-on is the dream right? Perfect for short holiday or business trips, or even a trip to the gym when he’s not travelling! A rugged canvas bag with leather trim, and a re-enforced bottom to make sure it lasts a good long while. A trendy vintage look with multiple colors available. A gift he didn’t even know he wanted!

7. Portable Battery Charger

Help keep him charged up with what will soon become one the more essential accessories! Nobody likes a dead battery! Available in white or black, it’s super light weight and about the same size as a credit card! Works with multiple devices!

8. Humans of New York: Stories

Maybe you already love it, or you’ve maybe heard of it, or have seen the blog or perhaps shares on social media, and now here’s the book! The project was created by Brandon Stanton in 2010 and it provides a glimpse of everyday folks living in New York, their successes and failures, insights and stories – it’s incredibly addictive and entertaining!

9. Travel Necktie Case Holder & Collar Stays

A little something to help the classier accessories stay looking perfect. Great for a business traveller, a trip for a wedding or graduation, or maybe a cruise for those nights when he’ll want to dress up.  The key thing for me is the collar stays – I always lose these!

10. GoPro HERO5 Black

GoPro continues to take the photography world by storm! Don’t be fooled into thinking that these cameras are just for adventurers, they are so much fun for everyone, it’s waterproof even without the case, takes great photos, timelapses and 4K video without breaking the bank! There are also lot’s of accessories to add to the fun!

11. Sony Alpha a7 II Mirrorless Digital Camera with 28-70mm Lens

And for the more serious photographer…behold the future of digital photography, mirrorless! We switched to the mirrorless system almost a year ago and haven’t looked back.  It’s so much lighter, smaller, and quieter than the normal DSLR system. This little kit comes with a f3.5 28mm-70mm starter lens to get going.  The focus peeking is a great feature to ensure that what you’re shooting is in focus.

12. Old World Map Camera Strap

Now accessorize that camera not only to look worldly, but keep it a mystery as to what you’re packing! Not only will this look better, it’s also way more comfortable than the standard strap that comes with the camera.

13. LaCie Rugged 1 TB External Hard Drive

Don’t lose those photos and videos! Make sure you back them up and an external hard drive is one of the best and easiest ways to do that. We have used the LaCie Rugged external HD for about three years now and we chose them specifically for the shock proof protection.  We travel a lot, and it would be devastating if we lost our photos!

14. Fossil Men’s Trifold Wallet

The timeless classic tri-fold leather wallet. I’ve had Fossil wallets for years and think the quality is excellent.  I like this one for the extra room and the clear window for ID, and the fabric lining. Don’t forget to put a dollar in it for good luck!

15. Braun Series 5 5090cc Electric Foil Shaver

Gone are the days where you just didn’t get a good shave with an electric razor.  The Braun has a unique ‘lift & cut’ to get the hard-to-reach areas without irritation. It comes with a charging and cleaning station and it can be washed with water.

16. Handmade Vintage Leather Laptop Messenger Bag

I do love a good quality leather laptop case. I just feel cooler with it! The brown leather and the vintage style are all the rage right now and something like this will make a fantastic and unexpected gift this Christmas.

17. ZeroGrid Travel Electronics Organizer

I just got one of these accessory organizers from ZeroGrid and so far, it’s helped immensely.  I have a lot of cables, chargers, memory cards, adapters and hard drives and it’s a constant frustration. It has 40 elastic straps that can be used to hold things of all sorts of shapes, as well as a zippered pocket for loose items.

18. Yves Saint Laurent LA NUIT DE L’HOMME

Help him smell awesome this Christmas with one of the top rated colognes for men. Not overpowering, and a little bit sweet, I think most will find this fragrance quite appealing.

19. L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream

I get dry skin even in the most humid environments, and good hand lotion is sometimes hard to come by. This is by far and away my favorite one, it feels nice, it’s not greasy, the smell is great, it kind of reminds me of sunblock and makes me think of the beach!

20. Brick of Soap from Duke Cannon

If there’s one thing guys can thank the ‘hipster’ movement for, it’s stuff for men. Good stuff. Made for men, by men. We can take grooming seriously and not hide it. We can smell good, flaunt it!
